Problem
 flashes in the timer
display and the cooktop
switches off
automatically.
After turning on the
cooktop,  appears in
the timer display for
several seconds. The
cooking zones don't
heat up.

Possible cause and solution
One or more of the sensor buttons are covered, e.g.,
by finger contact, food boiling over, or an object.
 Clean off any dirt and / or remove the object (see
"Safety features – Safety shut-off").
The cooktop is in demo mode.
 Deactivate demo mode (see "Programming").
It has been operated for too long.
 You can use the cooking zone again by turning it

The overheating protection mechanism has been
