 Unplug the power cord from the outlet before replacing the lamps.
 Remove the screws on the front cover of the log bed (Figure 1), and remove the plate.
 Pull the log bed forward to reveal the two lamps situated beneath.
 Remove the defective bulb by pulling it from its holder (Figure 2).
 Replace the faulty bulb with a 25W G9 halogen bulb.
Note: Do not touch the bulb with your bare hands,
and ensure that the bulb is pushed securely
into its holder.
 Once the bulbs have been
replaced, follow the steps above
in reverse to reassemble the appliance.
Placement
The Sandhurst fireplace heater must be used on a stable, level surface.
When positioning the heater, the following precautions must be taken into account:
 If the heater is to be placed in an
alcove, ensure that there is a minimum
of 150mm of clearance on all sides
of the the appliance for proper air
circulation.
 The heater must not be placed over
a fixed electrical supply socket.
Ensure that the plug is always
immediately accessible in order to
quickly disconnect the appliance in an
emergency, when cleaning the heater
or when replacing faulty bulbs.
 Keep rugs and other soft furnishings
well clear of the heater, as they may
obstruct the free flow of hot air from
the fan, and possibly damage both the
furnishings and the heater.
