Residual heat indicator

The hob has a residual heat indicator for each hotplate, which
indicates any hotplates which are hot or warm. Do not touch the
cooking surface while the residual heat indicator is displayed.

Limiting the total power

This hob is equipped with a power limit. If the maximum power
is reached, no other hotplates can be switched on and the
power of the active hotplates cannot be increased any further.
In this case, an audible signal sounds and the display panel of
the hotplate concerned flashes.
The total power of the hob when delivered is limited to 3000 W
and can be increased to 4500 W.
The hob is divided into two groups. The two left- and right-hand
hotplates constitute one group each. The maximum power per
group is 3700 W.
Note: Please contact your electricity provider to establish
whether your appliance can be operated at 4500 W.
The total power of the appliance has a direct impact on the
operating characteristics:

You can use the following hotplates at the same time:
A large hotplate with the boost function and no other
hotplates.
Or a large hotplate on level 8 and two small hotplates on
level 1-7.
Or two small hotplates on level 9.
Always use cookware of a suitable size.
