My pump SF80110-1 sounds like it is running. I can see some water moving in the clear basket but it's not enough to created suction to clean the water. I don't see that anything is jammed or blocked. Any idea what the problem could be?

If the Intex pump SF80110-1 is running but not creating enough suction to clean the water, possible problems could be:
1. Pressure Gauge Damage – The pressure gauge may be faulty or damaged, affecting the pump's performance. It should be inspected and possibly replaced. 2. Sand Issues – If the sand is too small or the sand bed is calcified, it can reduce the pump's efficiency. Only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm should be used, and the sand should be replaced if necessary. 3. Air Leaks – If the air jet valve is leaking or not tight, it can reduce suction. The valve should be tightened, flushed to remove dirt, or replaced if broken. 4. Plunger Valve Issues – If the plunger valve is not well-fitted, it can reduce suction. It should be tightened or reinstalled.
Checking and addressing these issues should help restore proper suction and improve water cleaning performance.

4. Plunger Valve Issues – If the plunger valve is not well-fitted, it can reduce suction. It should be tightened or reinstalled.
Checking and addressing these issues should help restore proper suction and improve water cleaning performance.
