BVS-6464 Rev. 2 1 General The BVS-6464 is a 64x64 video router with vertical interval switching. This state of the art router provides 125MHz video bandwidth. High performance circuits in SMD technology assure undiminished signal quality. The BVS-6464 is designed for all demanding routing tasks in digital studio and broadcast environments. -

Triton devices, with RJ45 connectors, an RJ45 to 5-pin DIN interface is necessary. This converter can be ordered from Thomson Grass Valley. The NCB system allows connection of up to 16 routers with different levels on the same bus. Control panels dedicated to work with a specific router must be configured to the same level as the router. -

The panels on the NCB dedicated to operate with the router must be configured to the same level as that router. -

BVS-6464 Rev. 2 VIT Mode The BVS-6464 may be configured to switch in different vertical intervals, depending on the video format that is applicable. This may be either PAL or NTSC. NTSC (525/60) and PAL (625/50) have different Vertical Intervals. Switching in line 6 in PAL means switching in line 8 in NTSC. -
