    FUEL Petrol is very flammable. Do not fuel or use the chainsaw near a flame, sparks or while smoking. Allow the engine to cool before re-fuelling. Fuel the engine at least 3m away from your work area. • se a ratio of 25:1 unleaded petrol to 2-stroke mineral oil, for synthetic or semi-synthetic use the oil maker's ratio.

    ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION Assembling the Loop Handle: • Disassemble the loop handle. • Position the upper handle over the upper shaft just in front of the fixed rubber grip. The lower handle locates on the under- side of the shaft and should line up with the four screw holes on the upper handle.

    REPLACEMENT OF LINE Follow these steps to replace the cutting line: • Stop the engine. • Lay the trimmer on the floor so that the cutting head is facing up. • Remove the bump knob/retaining cap by turning it anti-clock- wise.

    MAINTENANCE Before carrying out any maintenance, ensure that the trimmer engine is at a complete standstill. Air Filter: Accumulated dust in the air filter will reduce engine efficiency, increase fuel consumption and allow abrasive particles to pass into the engine. Remove and clean the air filter regularly to ensure optimum per- formance.
