MCS is the designation of the secondary part of an ironless linear motor.
The frame size of the secondary part is derived from the active motor length
and represents different power ranges.
The number 3 stands for fastening of the secondary part with screws.
To ensure the optimal operation reliability, the permanent magnets of the
secondary part are protected against outside influences like corrosion by
coating. Hence, no additional cover is necessary for this specified environ‐
mental conditions.
Depending from the motor frame size, different secondary part lengths are
available.
