    Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION Ensure the mounting location for your solar stake light allows the solar panel to receive direct sunlight. Do not locate the product in shaded areas as this will significantly reduce performance. Position the solar stake light such that during evening hours the ambient light from other light sources does not affect the photosensor built into the solar panel.

    Installation IMPORTANT: Prior to use, set the AUTO/OFF switch located on the back of the solar box to the AUTO position and allow it to charge a full sunny day. NOTE: Do not use a hammer. If the ground is hard, use water to soften.

    Maintenance Battery replacement NOTE: Use two AA size, 600mAh, 1.2V Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries. For best performance, replace with two Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries annually. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different ratings. IMPORTANT: Dispose of the battery in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    Preinstalación CÓMO PLANIFICAR LA INSTALACIÓN Asegúrate de que el lugar de instalación de tu luz de estaca solar permita que el panel solar reciba luz solar directa. No coloques el producto en áreas con sombra, ya que esto reducirá el rendimiento de forma significativa. Coloca la luz de estaca solar de tal forma que durante las horas nocturnas la luz ambiental de otras fuentes de iluminación no afecte el fotosensor incorporado en el panel solar.

    Instalación IMPORTANTE: Antes de usar, coloca el interruptor de AUTO/APAGADO (OFF) ubicado en la parte trasera de la caja solar en la posición de AUTO y deja que se cargue durante todo un día soleado. NOTA: No uses un martillo. Si la tierra está dura, usa agua para ablandarla.

    Mantenimiento Reemplazo de la batería NOTA: Usa dos baterías recargables AA de níquel e hidruro metálico, de 600 mAh y 1.2 V. Para un mejor rendimiento, reemplaza las dos baterías anualmente con dos baterías recargables de níquel e hidruro metálico. No mezcles baterías viejas y nuevas o baterías con diferente clasificación.
