5. The gasket and the valves can be removed for cleaning. (See pages 9-10).
6. Once the pressure increases, the Lid cannot be opened. Safety sensors ensure the
pressure remains within the set range.
7. The Steam Release Valve has an extended finger tab, designed to keep the hand
away from the top of the valve. Always use a kitchen utensil when operating this tab.
See RELEASING PRESSURE Instructions on pages 7-8.
8. The pressure cooking functions require liquid to work. If the inside of the Cooking Pot
does not have enough liquid, the Multi-Cooker will not pressurize. At least 550ml of
liquid is needed to pressurize properly.
9. At the end of cooking, the Lid cannot be unlocked until all the pressure is released.
This can be done using the Natural Pressure Release Method or Quick Pressure
Release Method, explained on pages 7-8. Be mindful that the heating plate and all
the unit might still be extremely hot after turning the unit off or unplugging it.
10. The Time Control Knob is used to set the cooking time. To advance, simply turn the
knob clockwise to the desired amount of time.
11. As soon as the Power Cord is plugged into a power outlet the (yellow) Keep Warm
indicator light will turn on. To begin heating, turn the Time Control Knob clockwise to
the desired cook time.
12. Pressure and temperature settings on the Oster
to function on MEDIUM. Once the desired cook time is set and the unit reaches
optimum pressure, the (green)Keep Pressure indicator light will turn on to indicate
that the pressure cooking cycle has begun.
13. When the pressure cooking cycle has ended, the (yellow) Keep Warm indicator light
will turn on and the Keep Warm setting will function to keep your cooked food warm
until the Multi-Cooker is unplugged.
1. Before using the Multi-Cooker for the first time, clean the cooking pot with soap and
warm water and dry.
2. Lightly cover the cooking surface with cooking oil (spreading it over the entire cooking
surface).
3. Warm uncovered until the appliance reaches maximum heat.
4. Turn off and cool completely.
5. Clean off excess oil with warm water without rubbing.
6. Dry the surface with a dry cloth. Now the appliance is ready to be used.

3. Plug other end of the Power Cord into a wall power outlet.
4. Turn the Time Control Knob clockwise to the desired cook time to begin heating. The
(red) Heating indicator light will turn on. (Please refer to the Cooking Guide chart on
page 12 for cook time recommendations.)
5. When the Multi-Cooker reaches optimum pressure, the (green) Keep Pressure
indicator light will turn on, the unit will begin pressure cooking, and the timer will begin
counting down.
6. After the set cooking time has elapsed, the Multi-Cooker will beep and the (yellow)
Keep Warm indicator light will turn on indicating that the unit has automatically
switched to the Keep Warm setting.
7. The Multi-Cooker will remain on the Keep Warm setting until it has been unplugged
from the power outlet.
8. When finished, unplug the Multi-Cooker and wait for it to cool completely before
attempting to clean.
