Only use products approved by Mercedes-Benz.
Damage caused by the use of products that have
not been approved is not covered by the
Mercedes-Benz warranty or goodwill gestures.
The operating uids approved by Mercedes-Benz
can be identi ed by the following inscriptions on

Fuels are highly ammable.
Fire, open ames, smoking and creating

sparks must be avoided.
Before and during refueling, switch o

the vehicle and, if installed, the station-
ary heater.

Fuels are poisonous and hazardous to your
health.
Do not swallow fuel or let it come into
#
contact with skin, eyes or clothing.
Do not inhale fuel vapor.
#
Keep children away from fuel.
#
Keep doors and windows closed during
#
the refueling process.
If you or other people come into contact with
fuel, observe the following:
Immediately rinse fuel o your skin with
#
soap and water.
If fuel comes into contact with your eyes,
#
immediately rinse them thoroughly with
clean water. Seek medical attention
immediately.

If you swallow fuel, seek medical atten-
#
tion immediately. Do not induce vomit-
ing.
Change immediately out of clothing that
#
has come into contact with fuel.
Flexible-fuel vehicles can be refueled with the fol-
lowing fuel types:
Premium grade unleaded gasoline

E85 fuel
R
A mixture of E85 fuel and premium grade
R
unleaded gasoline
Flexible-fuel vehicles can be identi ed by the
Et Ethanol up t
hanol up to E85
o E85 sticker on the inside of the fuel
ller ap.
Depending on the country, the fuels you can use
in your vehicle may di er from the information in
the Operator's Manual. The fuels that have been
approved for your vehicle can be found on the
instruction label on the inside of the fuel ller ap.
