which will damage the ozone layer, please contact
your local waste disposal department for advice on
safe disposal.

The appliance is not intended for use by young
children or infirm persons without supervision.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
This appliance is designed for indoor use only, in a
room temperature environment.

This appliance must be only used for its intended

  • Page 2 Warning: This appliance must be installed on a circuit that is grounded. Operation Before plugging in your refrigerator for the first time remove all packaging, clean the refrigerator with a soft rag and a mixture of lukewarm water and baking soda (2 tablespoons baking soda in 1 quart of water works well) .
  • Page 3 “3” setting. If this is adequate for your needs, good. If not, you may adjust the temperature warmer or colder. Please note that this refrigerator has two compartments; the lower compartment is a refrigerator and the upper compartment is a freezer.
  • Page 4 Changing the light bulb If the light does not turn on when the refrigerator door is open: • Unplug the refrigerator. • Check to make sure that the light bulb is firmly screwed in.
  • Page 5 • Screw in the replacement bulb in the place of the old bulb. • Plug in the refrigerator and test the new bulb. Storing Fresh Food Wrap or store food in the refrigerator in airtight and moisture-proof material. This prevents odor and taste transfer throughout the refrigerator.
  • Page 6 However, under some conditions, frost may build up in the refrigerator section as well as the freezer section. Remove the electrical plug from the wall socket, open the door and remove all contents. Defrost using a plastic scraper, or let the temperature rise naturally until the frost melts, then wipe away the remaining ice and water.
  • Page 7 Clean the refrigerator and then dry it with a soft cloth. Storage If the refrigerator is not in use for a long period of time, it should be stored. Disconnect the refrigerator from the power supply by removing the plug from the wall socket.

    - The light bulb may be burnt out. Change it (directions above). Food in the refrigerator compartment is freezing - Make sure that food is not touching the back wall of the refrigerator (this could cause the food to freeze.
  • Page 9 - Make sure the drain pan behind the unit is in place on top of the compressor. The refrigerator is noisy when running - Check to make sure that the refrigerator is level and it is not in contact with another appliance...

    LIMITED WARRANTY This EdgeStar product is warranted to be free from defective workmanship and materials for the first year following the date of original purchase. Replacement parts will be supplied free of charge for the first year following the date of original purchase.
  • Page 11 DESCRIPTION OF WARRANTY SERVICE: All defective product components covered by this warranty will be repaired or replaced, at EdgeStar’s option, free of charge on a mail-in basis to EdgeStar’s authorized repair facility during the first 90 days from the date of original purchase.
  • Page 12 The purchaser is solely responsible for prepaying all shipping related costs to and from the repair facility. EdgeStar is not responsible for damage resulting from shipper mishandling or improper packaging. Do not return defective product to the place of purchase.
