7. TO SOLVE A PROBLEM
Problem
1. Device does not respond
to the RCU.
2. One of the mode keys
blinks twice when a key is
pressed but the device
does not respond.
3. Device does sometimes
not respond to the RCU.
4. Your device code is not
listed.
5. The RCU does not
execute the commands
properly.
6. Volume control does not
respond as expected.
7. Video does not record.
8. The RCU gives still
problems.

Possible cause
You did not select the
correct code for the
device.
You did not select the
correct mode.
Batteries are empty.
Direct sun light from
behind the device.
You do not aim
sufficiently at the device.
Batteries are almost
empty.
The device code was not
know at the time this
manual was created.
Some codes are quite
similar, maybe you have
chosen the wrong code.
Volume is locked to
another device.
You pressed the record
key once.
Your customized settings
are corrupted.

What to do?
Try all the codes listed for
your brand.
Try the search method.
Press the mode key that
operates the chosen
device.
Insert new batteries.
Close the sun blinds or
get closer to the device.
Aim at the device's
display.

Undo the volume lock
