MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Maintenance is very important for
keeping your trailer in safe operating
condition.
The maintenance schedule does not
exempt the pre-use inspection.
NOTE: If trailer is used all year
round, carry out both
PRE-SEASON
tions once a year.
At Storage
Carry out the following at trailer stor-
age:
– Inflate tires to recommended pres-
sure.
– Check coupler condition and lubri-
cate.
– Lubricate jack.
– Apply
DIELECTRIC
(P/N 293 550 004) in all electric con-
nectors and light bulb socket to pre-
vent corrosion.
– Trailers with winch: Check winch
and
strap
winch mechanism.
– If possible, park trailer in a protected
area, garage, carport, etc.
– Raise trailer and place blocks un-
der trailer frame to take most of the
weight off the suspension and tires.
At Preseason
Carry out the following before using
trailer after a storage period:
– Inspect wheels for damage.
– Check tightness of all fasteners.
– Check wheel bearing and seals.
– Check wiring harness and connec-
tor condition.
– Inspect tongue safety cables.
