BLUETOOTH OPERATION

Discovery

When the speaker amp is first turned ON, the Red LED light will turn ON and the speaker amp
should be discoverable by a Bluetooth enabled device such as a PC, tablet, IPhone or other
smartphone.

Open the device Bluetooth manager and review its list of discoverable Bluetooth devices. The
speaker amp will appear as OWI-XXXX where XXXX is the last 4 digits of the speaker amp MAC
address. Note: The speaker amp MAC address is identified on a label located on the speaker
amp board.
Pairing

Select the OWI-XXXX Bluetooth device from the list and the device will pair with the speaker amp.
Note: If the speaker amp is password protected, you will be required to enter the correct PIN
before the pairing process will begin. If the PIN has not been changed on the speaker amp,
entering 1234 will begin the pairing process.
Operation
Once the speaker amp is paired with the device, audio from the device should pass through and be
heard from the speaker(s) connected to the speaker amp.

Get a new password
Passwords Procedures for a NEW Random Pin
1. Power can be ON or OFF.
2. Set POP to "ALL SOURCES MIXED".
3. Locate the 2 pin header on the speaker amp board.
a. Plug the jumper to pin reset header
4. If the power is off - Turn the power ON
5. Go to mobile Bluetooth settings.
6. The new random pin will show up as "PIN: XXXX". Some devices will take longer than the others.
a. Write down the PIN and keep in a safe place.
7. Unplug the pin reset jumper, and wait until the speaker ID "OWI-XXXX" shows up.
8. Wait at least another 30 seconds to pair using the new password.
Reset the Bluetooth to the Default Password to 1234
It is possible to reset all Bluetooth settings including the Bluetooth PIN to the factory default values.
1. Turn power OFF.
2. Set POP to "ALL SOURCES MIXED".
3. Locate the 2 pin header on the speaker amp board.
a. Plug the jumper to pin reset header
4. Turn on power.
5. Wait EXACTLY 8 SECONDS then pull off the jumper.
6. Pin is now reset to default 1234.
