Furnace and Water Heater

The Interstate 24X is equipped with an all-in-one
diesel/electric hydronic heating and hot water system
Gas is supplied from the vehicles diesel fuel tank
Make sure the tank has enough fuel to run the heating
system The system will automatically shut off if the
tank reaches one quarter full so as not to completely
drain the vehicles fuel supply
For hot water, press the Hot Water indicator on the
touch screen and press the desired heat source The
burner will light and bring the systems coolant to room
temperature Turn on the hot water tap and the burner
will cycle to meet the demand If the electric element
is active, it will cycle to maintain the system coolant
temperature and meet low hot water demands For
higher hot water demands, such as taking a shower,
it is recommended the gas be turned on A Mixing
valve, located under the roadside lounge, blends cold
water with hot to maintain a consistent hot water output
temperature The temperature is adjustable from 80° F
to 130° F
To operate the furnace, rotate the temperature setting
to the desired temperature on the touch screen to
light the burner Once lit, the furnace will go through
its normal operation, cycling on/off in 5 to 10 minute
intervals For heating using electric, activate the
heating element on the touch screen by tapping the
icon
For further operating instructions please refer to the
manufacturer's directions provided in the owner's
packet
Carefully read all the manufacturer's instructions
prior to operating. NEVER store flammable material
next to the furnace or in close proximity to the
furnace exhaust outlet on the side of the touring

coach.
NOTE
If the touch screen freezes, reset the system by
turning off the battery disconnect switch.

Microwave Ovens

Your microwave oven is designed to run on either
shore power or with the inverter on Refer to the
Certified Performance Checkout sheet, included in your
owner's packet, for manufacturer, model, and serial
number information

Monitor Panel

The display is the only system component that is
accessed by the user The display shown above is
located in the overhead compartment, behind the
driver's seat All user input to the display is done using
the buttons along the bottom of the display
The display receives the information from the three
sender pads via a single, two-conductor wire, and
displays the level information in percent of full on a
three-digit, LED display When the front panel button
for a particular tank is pressed, the display powers
up and displays the level for that tank If the button
is pressed and released, the display will show the
level for about 5 seconds and then shuts down
automatically If another button is pressed before the
display shuts down, then the new level will immediately
be shown If the same button is pressed twice, the
display will hold on that tank and continue to show
updated levels for 5 minutes before shutting off This
allows the user to monitor the filling or draining of the
tank By pressing two buttons at once, the diagnostic
functions can be accessed
Sender pads are installed and stuck to the sides of
the holding tank The sender pad scans the water
level through the tank wall using digital techniques
programmed into the sender microprocessor
