Caution!
When fitting the bearing on the shaft, the surface that runs towards the sea-

not to damage the shaft surface there! Use soft fibre jaws to avoid damaging
the shaft.

Heat the bearing housing using a hot air
gun to around 100 °C.
Normally the shaft can now be inser-
ted into the gear housing without force.
Otherwise apply a few light nocks using a
large plastic hammer.
Fit the outer circlip
Fit the circlip into the gear housing.
