Error Codes for Angle Feature Torque Wrenches
Error Code
(See note 1.)
Note 1.
If the torque wrench is shut down while in angle mode, then restarted while not horizontal, four flashing zeros
may appear in the display . Follow the same steps listed above for ER4 error code.

changing the angle values.
DATA12, DATA14, DATA38
Cause
Applied torque exceeded 110% of
the maximum rated capacity of the
torque wrench.
The torque wrench shut down
during angle mode. When
restarted, the torque wrench was
not laying horizontally.
Angle module communication
failure.
Rotational speed of the torque
wrench was exceeded.
Corrective Action
Return torque wrench to repair center
for calibration.

the torque wrench - If this does not
work, then
2. Remove battery cap - then
reinstall. Press the button to
restart the torque wrench.

Comments
If the torque wrench is
in angle mode, it must
be laying in the
horizontal position
when turned on.
If the torque wrench
does not restart or
continues to show the
ER5 error code, it
should sent to the
repair center.
Rotational speed of
the torque wrench
should not exceed 30º
per second.
