This installation guide is intended for trained personnel and therefore does
not include basic working steps.
IMPORTANT
The seal on the meter must not be damaged! A damaged seal immediately
invalidates the factory warranty and calibration / conformity.
It is not allowed to disconnect the integral battery of the meter.
The disconnection of the integral battery (after braking the sealing) will lead
to the total loss of all stored data.
INSTALLATION OF THE METER
Install the meter in the low or high temperature pipe according to the data
on the type plate. The meter must be fitted so that the arrow on the housing
points in the same direction as the direction of flow (Fig.).

Ensure that the volume measuring component is always filled with liquid on
completion of installation.
Calming sections are only necessary for the WS volume measuring com-
ponent of model 449/452. A length of 3 x D is required for a straight inlet
section and 5 x D for a 90° bend or a T-piece before the inlet.
INSTALLATION OF TEMPERATURE SENSORS
The temperature sensors are marked with coloured type labels: red for
installation in the high temperature pipe and blue for installation in the low
temperature pipe.
