MAINTENANCE AND CARE

CAUTION: Be sure to unplug the appliance before defrosting or cleaning to prevent personal injury
or appliance malfunction.

Cleaning your Appliance

NOTE: It is important to regularly clean your appliance to maintain proper cooling and energy-saving
functionality.
Use a soft towel or sponge dipped in water and a non-corrosive neutral detergent to clean the
inside of the refrigerator.
Clean the freezer with water and a dry cloth.
Open the door to let the cabinet dry naturally before reconnecting the appliance to a power
source.
Do not use hard brushes, steel scrubber pads, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpastes,
organic solvents, boiling water, acid, or alkaline items to clean the refrigerator, as this may
damage the refrigerator surface and interior.
Cleaning the Door Tray
Remove the door tray before cleaning by squeezing the tray inward, then pushing the tray upward to
remove. Wash the tray, and replace the tray in the door.

Defrosting

This appliance uses an automatic defroster. Frost formed due to warmer weather or a higher
ambient temperature may be manually removed by first disconnecting the appliance to let defrost, or
removing the frost with a dry towel.

Power Interruptions

In case of an interruption of power, food inside the appliance can be kept for several hours if the
door remains closed. DO NOT add any more food to the refrigerator during this time.
In the event of a long-term power interruptions, unplug and clean the appliance, and leave the
doors open to prevent a build-up of odors.
