Swivel
1. Raise the swivel using a screwdriver.
2. Note the X-rings on the top and bottom
of the swivel.
Dismantling – blade bracket
1. Remove the six screws.
2. Use a knife to lift the flange washer.
3. Lift off the flange washer.
4. Remove both cover screws.
Remove the gear ring and seal
Turn the pivoting arm.
5. Since the screws are locked with Loctite,
dismantling is helped if you strike the screw
heads a few times using a pin punch.
6. Remove the screws.
7. Push the gear ring up with a screwdriver.
8. Lift off the gear ring. Inspect the seal and
replace if necessary.
Saw blade hub
The saw blade hub must be removed from
the ball bearing's inner ring.
9. Heat the pressed on ring to about 100 °C
(200 °F).
10. Fit as quickly as possible using tool
575 46 60-01 with the six screws.
