Dismantling/assembly
This chapter deals with dismantling, adjustment work and refitting of the
pivoting arm components.
Note: In the following illustrations, the feeding motors and electrical
components have been dismantled. You do not need to do this to carry out
work on, or to remove, the pivoting arm.

Tool
A special tool has been designed to carry out
work on the pivoting arm.
The tool can be purchased from
Husqvarna. Art. no. 575 46 60-01.

Dismantling

Hose connection
1. You must first disconnect the hose
connection between the motor and pivoting
arm.
2. Push back the collar.
3. Pull out the hose.
Remove the pivoting arm
4. Remove the six screws holding the
pivoting arm. Please note that all these
screws have their own flat washer.
Note that when the screws are loosened,
the friction clutch releases and the arm
drops down.
5. Pull the pivoting arm straight out.
6. Dismantled pivoting arm.
Please note the shaft that is connected directly
to the saw motor.
