OPERATION


WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start-up can cause injury.

CAUTION: Make certain the lock-off button is
engaged to prevent switch actuation before removing
or installing the battery.

Installing and Removing the Battery Pack

(Fig. E)
nOTE: For best results, make sure your battery pack is
fully charged.
To install the battery pack

pack with the rails inside the battery port and slide it into
the port until the battery pack is firmly seated and ensure
that it does not disengage.
To remove the battery pack from the tool, press the release
button

and firmly pull the battery pack out of the tool.
Insert it into the charger as described in the charger section
of this manual.

To switch the tool on, press the lock-off button
left and then depress the variable speed switch 
tool speed depends on how far you depress the switch.
To switch the tool off, release the variable speed switch
nOTE: This tool has no provision to lock the switch in the
ON position, and should never be locked in the ON position
by any other means.
