Remove the upper case from the main unit gently.

See "Separating the Lower Case from the Upper Case" on page 56
5.
Remove the 2 screws on the main board as shown below.
6.
Remove the main board from the lower case with caution.

Removing the PCMCIA Socket

From the back of the main board, release the two screws as shown below.
7.
Remove the PCMCIA cable from the main board.
