    2 Beschreibung 2.1 Vakuumtisch PE & MDF Der STEPCRAFT Vakuumtisch für die M-Serie ist ein multifunktionales Spannsystem und für die dauerhafte und re- gelmäßige Nutzung geeignet. Durch Unterdruck werden glatte Plattenmaterialien, wie Verbundwerkstoffe, Holz (glat- te Struktur), Kunststoff und Aluminium, auf dem Vakuumtisch fixiert.     Der Arbeitsplatz sollte den geltenden Vorgaben und Bestimmungen der jeweiligen Branche entsprechen. 2.4 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Die STEPCRAFT Vakuumtische (MDF und PE) sind für die M-Serie sind für die dauerhafte und regelmäßige Nutzung im privaten sowie im kleineren gewerblichen Bereich konzipiert. Durch den Aufbau des Tisches lassen sich glatte Materialien direkt sowie indirekt praktisch auf der gesamten Fläche des Tisches fixieren.

    16 mitgelieferten M4x20 Schrauben. Der Abstand von den Leisten bis zu den äußeren Bohrungen sollte an beiden Seiten etwa gleich sein. Bereiten Sie nun die STEPCRAFT EasyFix- Klemmmuttern vor, indem Sie die 8 mitgelieferten M6x22 Schrauben wie gezeigt locker in die EasyFix-...

    Um die Vormontage des Vakuumtisches abzuschlie- ßen, legen Sie den O-Ring (8) in die dafür vorgese- hene O-Ring Nut in der Öffnung der Absaugung ein. Stecken Sie das 90° Winkel Rohr (9) wie gezeigt in die Öffnung der Absaugung. Dies kann mitunter einigen Kraftaufwand benötigen.
  • Page 14 Für eine platzsparende Montage, bietet STEPCRAFT spezielle Frontplatten mit einem Ausschnitt für ei- nen Schlauch an (opt. Art. 12484, 12485, 12486). Zur Abdichtung der Verbindung zwischen Absaug- schlauch (11) und 90° Winkel Rohr, finden Sie ein kurzes Stück 3 mm Rundschnur (14) im Lieferum- fang.
  • Page 15 Verbinden Sie jetzt den Absaugschlauch und Ihr Vakuumsystem. Sie sollten prüfen, ob das System funktionsfähig ist. Legen Sie dazu z. B. die 3 mm Opferplatte auf den Vakuumtisch. Wenn Sie Ihr Vakuumsystem an- schalten, sollte die Platte fixiert werden. Ist dies nicht der Fall, besteht eine Undichtigkeit.

    5 Betrieb 5.1 Inbetriebnahme und sicherer Betrieb Die Maschine und alle angeschlossenen Komponenten müssen korrekt verdrahtet sein und sich in einwandfreiem Zustand befinden. Das Vakuumsystem muss gegen versehentliche Unterbrechung des Luftstroms gesichert sein. Der Maschinen- bediener muss sämtliche Dokumente zum Vakuumtisch sowie die M-Serie betreffenden Dokumente und Anleitungen gelesen und verstanden haben.
  • Page 17 STEPCRAFT empfiehlt die folgenden drei grundlegende Befestigungsmethoden. Sie können diese Methoden selbstver- ständlich auch entsprechend Ihrer Anforderungen anpassen und kreativ erweitern. Grundsätzlich sollten Sie bei Durch- fräsungen darauf achten, nicht in die Rundschnur oder den Vakuumtisch zu fräsen. Auch sollten Sie nicht durch die Opferplatte hindurch fräsen.

    5.3 Ideen für die Anwendung Der Lieferumfang des Vakuumtisch PE enthält Anschlagstifte. Sie können die mitgelieferten Anschlagstifte ver- wenden, um die Wiederholgenauigkeit bei repetiti- ven Aufgaben zu erhöhen. Dazu finden Sie mitten im Vakuumtisch mehrere Stiftlöcher. Auch an der vorderen und linken Seite des Vakuum- tisches finden Sie Stiftlöcher, die Sie nutzen kön- nen, um größere Plattenmaterialien auszurichten.
  • Page 19 Sie können die Ansaugkraft bei Verwendung einer ganzen Opferplatte verstärken, indem Sie zusätz- lich den Bereich, in dem Ihr Werkstück liegen soll, mit Rundschnur abdichten. Auch mit diesem Auf- bau werden Durchfräsungen ermöglicht. Achten Sie darauf nicht in die Rundschnur oder den Vakuum- tisch zu fräsen.

    Vakuumtischs PE regelmäßig mit einem feuchten Tuch und den Vakuumtisch MDF mit einem trockenen Tuch. Wir empfehlen die Verwendung eines Mikrofasertuchs wie dem STEPCRAFT Mikrofasertuch (Art. 12389). Entfernen Sie regelmäßig Späne aus dem Raster, in dem Sie den Vakuumtisch vorsichtig mit Druckluft reinigen. Je nach eingesetztem Vakuumsystem, könnten Späne dieses beschädigen.

    Negative pressure is used to fix smooth panel materials such as composites, wood (smooth structure), plastic and aluminum on the Vacuum Table. The Vacuum Table is based on a design specially developed by STEPCRAFT, which allows a variety of functions, such as through-milling, as well as direct and indirect fixation of workpieces. Reinforcement by alu- minum profiles screwed to the underside prevents deformation of the table under load.

    2.4 Intended Scope of Use The STEPCRAFT Vacuum Table for the M-Series is constructed for a permanent and regular use for private and smaller in- dustrial applications. The design of the table allows smooth materials to be fixated by suction directly, as well as indirectly over virtually the entire surface of the table.

  • Page 36 Connect your vacuum system to the suction hose. You should check whether the system is functional. To do so, take the 3 mm spoilboard and place it on the Vacuum Table. When you turn on your vacuum system, the board should be fixed. If it is not, there is a leak within the system.

    5 Operation 5.1 Commissioning and Safe Operation The machine and all connected components have to be wired correctly and be in perfect condition. The vacuum system must be secured against accidental interruption of the air flow. The operator must have completely read and understood the entire documentation of the M-Series and corresponding instructions.
  • Page 38 STEPCRAFT recommends the following three basic fixation methods. Of course, you can also adapt and creatively expand these methods according to your requirements. As a general rule, you should take care not to mill into the round cord or the Vacuum Table when milling through. You should also not mill through the spoilboard.

    5.3 Ideas for Further Applications The Vacuum Table PE comes with stop pins. You can use the stop pins provided to increase the repeatability for repetitive tasks. For this purpose, you will find several pin holes around the middle of the Vacuum Table.
  • Page 40 You can increase the suction force when using a whole spoilboard by additionally sealing the area where your workpiece is to be located with 6 mm round cord. Through-milling also is possible with this setup. Be careful not to mill into the round cord or the Vacuum Table.

    Vacuum Table PE with a damp cloth. Use a dry cloth to clean the Vacuum Table MDF. We recommend using the STEPCRAFT microfiber cloth (Item 12389). Remove chips by carefully cleaning your Vacuum Table with compressed air. Dependant on the type of your vacuum system, it could be damaged by remaining chips on the Vacuum Table.
