Error Messages
Power-on indicator turns off and LCD is
blank.
Power-on indicator turns on and LCD
is blank.
Power-on indicator turns on and LCD is
blank. POST is visible when using an
external CRT.
Power-on indicator turns on and a
blinking cursor is during POST.
Failure Fixed Disk
No beep, power-on indicator turns off and
LCD is blank.
No beep, power-on indicator turns on and
LCD is blank.
No beep, power-on indicator turns on and
LCD is blank. But you can see POST on an
external CRT.
No beep, power-on indicator turns on and a
blinking cursor shown on LCD during
POST.
No beep during POST but system runs
correctly.

Check or do the following in sequence:
