Battery precautions

1. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
2. Use only alkaline AA batteries of the same or equivalent type.
3. Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
4. Keep batteries away from children.
5. Dispose of exhausted batteries according to local legal requirements.
Do not dispose them by throwing away with normal household rubbish.
6. Avoid short circuiting the contacts in the battery compartment and battery terminals.
7. Remove batteries from the unit if it will be not used for long period of time.
8. Exhausted batteries should be removed from the battery compartment to prevent over-discharge, which
can cause leakage and may cause damage to the clock.

Getting started

1. Remove the battery door.
2. Insert 1× AA size new battery as indicated in the battery compartment, and press the "reset" key to reset the
clock.
3. Close the battery door.
4. Slide the OFF/US/UK/DE/JP switch to your desired country mode. After 8 seconds, the clock will automatically
start scanning for the radio controlled time signal.

Function keys

TIME /OFF/ALARM switch
• Slide to the TIME position to set the clock time.
• Slide to the ALARM position to set the alarm time.
• Slide to the OFF position to exit the setting mode and return to normal display.
+ key
• In normal display, press to switch between 12/24 hour format. In setting mode press to increase the setting
value. Press and hold to speed up the setting.
- key
• In setting mode press to decrease the setting value. Press and hold to speed up the setting.
ALARM ON/OFF button
• Press to turn the alarm on/off.
SNOOZE/LIGHT button
• Press to turn on the backlight for 5 seconds.
• Press to stop the alarm and activate the snooze function.
RESET key
• Press by using a pin to reset all values to default. In case of a malfunction, the unit has to be reset.
OFF/US/UK/DE/JP switch
• Slide to switch between US/UK/DE/JP mode, and to turn off the RC function.
RCC key
• Press to receive the RC signal in order to test the reception.

Time zone setting (US version only)
In US mode, the default time zone is PACIFIC. If your location is not in the Pacific zone, set the time zone as follows:
1. In normal time mode, slide the OFF/US/UK/DE/JP switch to the US position in order to enter the time zone
setting mode.
2. Press "+" "-" key again to select the relevant time zone: P=Pacific M=Mountain C=Central E=Eastern.
RC signal strength indicator
UK/DE/JP verzija
The signal indicator displays signal strength in 3 levels. Wave segment flashing means time signals are being
received.
Note: You may use the RCC key to receive the time signal manually. The receive mode stops automatically after 6–12
minutes.

Using the alarm and snooze function
1. Activate the alarm by pressing the "ALARM ON/OFF" button. The bell icon
2. Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to stop the alarm and activate the snooze function. When the alarm sounds,
the alarm icon will flash.
3. To de-activate the alarm and snooze function, press the ALARM ON/OFF button. The bell icon will disappear.
Note: When the snooze function is activated, the alarm will automatically start again after 5 minutes. The snooze
function will not stop unless you press the ALARM ON/OFF button to turn off the snooze.
Battery replacement
When the LCD becomes dim, replace with a new battery at once.
Important
For best reception performance, please read the following instructions.
1. We strongly recommend you start your clock at night. Allow the clock to receive the signal automatically
overnight.
2. Place the unit away from interfering sources such as TV set, computers, microwaves, etc.
3. Avoid placing the unit on or next to metal surfaces.
4. Avoid closed areas such as airports, basements, cement office buildings or factories.
Guarantee
2 year guarantee against material and workmanship defects (except battery).
The guarantee is valid in those countries where the alarm clock is officially being sold.
Broken or cracked lens screens are not covered under the Guarantee.

Pokyny k bateriím
1. Nepoužívejte nabíjecí baterie.
2. Používejte pouze alkalické baterie AA stejného typu dle doporučení.
3. Baterie vkládejte se správnou polaritou.
4. Chraňte baterie před dětmi.
5. Likvidujte prázdné baterie v souladu s místním předpisy.
Nevyhazujte baterie do běžného komunálního odpadu.
6. Dejte pozor na zkratování konců baterií v bateriové skříňce.
7. Pokud nebudete zařízení na delší dobu používat, vyjměte baterie.
8. Vybité baterie vyjměte z prostoru na baterie, abyste předešli přílišnému vybití, které může vést k vytečení
baterií a poškození budíku.
Zahájení provozu
1. Sejměte kryt baterií.
2. Vložte novou baterii velikosti 1× AA dle diagramu v bateriovém prostoru a stiskněte tlačítko „reset" pro
resetování hodin.
3. Zavřete kryt baterií.
4. Nastavte přepínač OFF/US/UK/DE/JP na režim vaší země. Po 8 vteřinách začnou hodiny automaticky vyhledávat
rádiový signál.
Funkční klávesy
Přepínání TIME /OFF/ALARM (čas/vypnuto/budík)
• Přepněte do polohy TIME pro nastavení času.
• Přepněte do polohy ALARM pro nastavení času buzení.
• Přepněte do polohy OFF pro odchod z režimu nastavení a pro návrat na normální displej.
Tlačítko +
• V běžném zobrazení se tímto tlačítkem přepíná mezi formáty zobrazení času 12/24 hodin. V režimu nastavení
se tímto tlačítkem zvyšuje hodnota. Stisknutím a přidržením se zvyšuje rychlost přičítání.
Tlačítko -
• V režimu nastavení se tímto tlačítkem snižuje hodnota. Stisknutím a přidržením se zvyšuje rychlost posunu
nastavení.
Přepínač aktivace/deaktivace budíku ALARM ON/OFF
• Posunutím přepínáte mezi aktivním a neaktivním budíkem (polohy on /off).
Tlačítko SNOOZE/LIGHT (opakované buzení/podsvícení)
• Stisknutím aktivujete podsvícení na 5 vteřin.
• Stiskem přerušíte alarm a aktivujete funkci opakovaného buzení (SNOOZE).
Tlačítko RESET
• Pro stisk použijte hrot a nastavte původní hodnoty. V případě špatné funkce je budík třeba resetovat.
Přepínač OFF/US/UK/DE/JP
• Posunem přepnete mezi režimy OFF/US/UK/DE/JP a pro vypnutí funkce RC.

• Stiskněte pro příjem RC signálu

Nastavení časového pásma (pouze pro USA)
V režimu US je standardně nastaven Pacifický čas. Pokud se nejedná o vaše časové pásmo, postupujte následovně:
1. V běžném režimu posuňte přepínač OFF/US/UK/DE/JP do polohy US, kde budete moci přepnout mezi
nastavením časového pásma.
2. Stiskem tlačítek „+"/ „-" zvolte odpovídající časové pásmo: P=Pacifické M=Horské C =Centrální E=Východní.
Indikátor síly RC signálu

Indikátor signálu ukazuje sílu signálu ve třech stupních. Blikání vlnového segmentu ukazuje na aktuální hledání
signálu.
Poznámka: Pomocí tlačítka RCC můžete ručně nastavit signál. Režim hledání signálu automaticky se ukončí po
6–12 minutách.
