Using the Menus: Shooting Mode

R CONTINUOUS

Capture motion in a series of pictures.
Option
P CONTINUOUS
J CONTINUOUS
The camera takes pictures while the shutter button is pressed.
K CONTINUOUS
O CONTINUOUS
M FINAL
The camera shoots while the shutter button is pressed and records the last
N FINAL
several pictures.
Q FINAL
R See page 124 for the frame rate and number of pictures taken in each mode.
R Focus and exposure are determined by the first frame in each series.
R In P mode, O IMAGE SIZE is fixed at Q 16 : 9.
R The flash turns off automatically.
R Frame rate varies with shutter speed.
R The number of pictures that can be recorded depends on the memory available.
b FACE/EYE DETECTION SETTING
Choose whether the camera automatically detects faces and eyes, and adjusts the focus and
exposure to emphasize human portrait subjects (P41).
