Basic maintenance tips Here are some basic points about keeping your computer functioning properly: • Store packing materials safely out of the reach of children to prevent the risk of suffocation from plastic bags. • Keep your computer away from magnets, activated cellular phones, electrical appliances, or speakers (more than 13 cm or 5 inches).

Resetting your computer If your computer does not perform well, you might consider resetting your computer. In the resetting process, you can choose to keep your files or remove them, and then reinstall the Windows operating system.

It is recommended that you create a recovery USB drive as early as possible. If you did not create a recovery USB drive as a precautionary measure, you can contact Lenovo Customer Support Center and purchase one from Lenovo.
