    Introduction 1.2 Board Introduction 1.3 Product Overview The CP351 is an intelligent PROFIBUS controller board providing PROFIBUS FMS master/slave and PROFIBUS functionality with high communication speeds. The PROFIBUS protocol FMS is particularly well suited for general purpose communication at cell or field level, while DP is designed for time-critical communication between sys- tems and distributed peripherals.
