Refer to the owner's manual for facts about oxygenated fuels.
4. (EW, EWD): Check tyre air pressure and inflate to 138 kPa if
necessary.
NOTICE
Over-inflating the tyres may damage the tyres and cause the
snowblower to pull to one side. Do not inflate the tyres beyond the
maximum tyre pressure of 159 kPa.
5. (ET, ETD): Check track tension.
a. With the snowblower resting on its tracks, check
track deflection by pressing down midway between
the wheels with a force of 49 N.
CORRECT TRACK DEFLECTION
b. Adjust if necessary. Be sure to adjust both sides
evenly.
6. Check the security of all nuts and other fasteners.
Tighten if necessary.
7. Check the scraper bar and skid shoe adjustments:
The skid shoes are mounted on the sides of the auger
housing on wheel models or on the rear of the auger
housing for track models.
a. Place the snowblower on a level surface.
On track-type models, press the auger height adjust
lever, raise the auger off the ground and gently lower it
until it rests on the skid shoes. Repeat after skid shoes
are adjusted. (do not lift the handlebars).
b. Adjust the skid shoes to set the auger ground clearance
initially for ordinary surfaces.

c. Set the skid shoes evenly on the surface.
d. After adjustment, tighten the four 8 x 16 mm bolts.
TORQUE: 24 ~ 29 N•m
e. After adjusting the skid shoes, raise the auger off the
ground and slowly lower it. Confirm that both skid shoes
contact the ground at exactly the same time. If not, the
unit will not track straight.
