VERY IMPORTANT - SAFETY
• The adaptors, the recharging unit, the transmitter and the receiver should be kept out of
reach of children.
• The Babycall HD must not, under any circumstances, be taken as being a substitute for the
active monitoring of a baby by an adult.
• Disconnection from the electricity supply is ensured by removal of the adaptor from the
mains.
• The power socket base must be installed near the unit and must be easily accessible.
• Do not expose to rain. Never recharge the batteries. In order to preserve the environment,
used batteries must be placed in a container designed for this purpose in compliance with
the legislation in force. Only ever use the device in the manner described in the user
manual. Regular maintenance of the device is required. Children are not aware of the risks
associated with using electrical appliances, therefore, use and keep the device out of the
reach of children. Unplug the device when not in use.

MAINTENANCE - BATTERIES

• Maintenance of UNPLUGGED units will be limited to wiping with a damp cloth without the
use of detergents.
• Used batteries - replace with the same batteries: rechargeable battery: 3xAAA – 3.6V - 700 mAh.

DEALING WITH PROBLEMS

• Alarm sound
- "Beep": battery level alarm.
- "Beep Beep": signal loss alarm.
- "Beep Beep Beep Beep": temperature alarm.
• No 'Power on' indicator:
- Check the adapter's cables.
- Recharge the receiver's batteries or change the transmitter's batteries.
• No red charging indicator on the base unit:
- Recharge completed.
- Check the adapter's cables.
- Place the receiver correctly on the base unit.
• Illuminated 'Power on' indicators - no sound transmission:
- Check the position of the volume button.
- Recharge the batteries.
• Reception too weak, interference:
- Battery levels.
- Place the units closer to each other.
- Check the direction in which they are facing.
- Turn the volume up.
- Keep the receiver away from operational electrical appliances.

- Place the receiver on its base and connected to the mains (this
improves the radio signal).
• Hissing:
- Turn the volume down.
- Place the receiver away from the transmitter.

on the back.
The logo on this product featuring a crossed out wheelie bin indicates
that the product must not be disposed of with your other household
waste. In order to prevent damage to the environment or human health,
please separate the product from other waste in order to ensure that it
is recycled in a manner that is safe for the environment. For further
information about existing collection sites, please contact your local city
office or the shop where you purchased the product.
This logo, which appears on batteries or packaging, means that used batteries
must not be discarded with household waste. You must take them to a
suitable processing centre or hand them in when purchasing a product
containing batteries.
The symbols Hg, Cd or Pb mean that the batteries contain mercury (Hg),
cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb).
The consumer is responsible for disposing of used batteries and must take
them to be processed at a suitable centre, in order to improve waste recycling.
Processing used batteries contributes to limiting negative effects on the
environment and human health, owing to the substances that they contain.

local council, a waste treatment site or the shop you brought the product from.
