Printer Model
To use service mode, you must connect a PC to
the printer.
» USB
» Ethernet (use a normal Ethernet cable if connecting
through a network, or use a crossover Ethernet cable if
connecting directly to the printer).
To enter the service program mode, start the
SOM (Smart Organizing Monitor) utility from your
computer.
OS compatible with SOM:
Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Windows Server
2003/2003 R2, or Mac OS-X
