3 ) Connect the tape drive's SCSI Cable to the SCSI p o rt in the
rear o f the Am iga 3000 (Figure 5).
IM PO R T A N T : The Amiga 3000 has other 25-pin
connectors in the area o f the SCSI port. M AKE SURE to
c o n n e c t th e ca b le to th e p o r t m a rk e d SCSI.
Connecting the cable to the w rong port could damage
your equipment.
4 ) Make sure the last SCSI device in the chain has a SCSI
Terminator Block covering its open SCSI port. I f it does
not

locate the SCSI Term inator Block that came with
that device (orpurchase one) to connect to its open SCSI
port.
5 ) Connect the pow er cable to the pow er supply connector
on the rear o f the tape drive and p lu g it in (Figure 6).
