  • Page 3 THE INTERNAL BATTERY PACK To charge the built-in batteries: 1. Set the Power Selector switch to "DYNAMO". 2. Turn the VOLUME control to "OFF". 3. Pull out the dynamo cranking handle. 4. Turn the handle clockwise at a speed of 2 turns per second. lf you turn the generator too slow, you will not generate enough energy to charge the battery.
  • Page 4 Charging via the sunlight The radio is built with a solar panel on the top. The solar panel is basically used to run the radio. Set the power selector to "SOLAR" before you charge the battery with solar panel. To charge the battery with solar panel will take a very long time, it is not recommended to expect a good charge from this solar panel.

    Listening to the radio 1. Set the power selector to "DYNAMO". 2. Select your band AM/FM/SW1/SW2. 3. Rotate the volume knob to a level you feel comfortable. 4. Tune the station slowly to get your station. For FM and SW, you should extend the telescopic antenna to get the good reception.

    Set the Clock This LCD clock is powered by one AA battery in the battery compartment. 1. Briefly press the MODE button, the LCD display shows the date and time separately. 2. Set the Date: Press MODE to enter the date mode, adjust the Month with the SET button.
