• The CH + has a tactile dot. Use it as a reference when operating the TV.
• Do not place any objects in front of the light sensor or IR receiver, as their function may be affected.
• Do not block the ventilation openings or speakers by placing any objects on the base. It may cause a malfunction.

Description
Lights up in orange when the Memory Stick is inserted.
Lights up in green when the Picture Off feature is activated (see page 41).
When the timer is set, this LED will remain lit even if the TV is turned off. For details,
see page 32.
Press to display the TV Home Menu/XMB
Menu items such as TV Settings, Photo, Music, TV channels and External Inputs
list (see page 25).

When VOL +/- are lit, the volume control can be adjusted. If the HOME button is
pressed, and B/b are lit, the buttons will act as B/b to select an item on the TV Home
Menu/XMB
(XrossMediaBar).
When CH +/- are lit, the channels can be switched. If the HOME button is pressed, and
V/v are lit, the buttons will act as V/v to select an item on the TV Home Menu/XMB
(XrossMediaBar) (see page 23).
Lights up in green when the TV is turned on.

• To the right of the POWER button is a Self-Diagnosis LED. If the LED flashes in red,
the TV requires service. Count how many times it flashes red within a two second
period, and call the Sony service center or your dealer for further assistance.
Senses room light level and adjusts the screen brightness accordingly (see page 41).
Receives IR signals from the remote control.
