Feed roller is located above upper tray bottom plate and friction
pad. This allows only one sheet to feed from the paper tray.
These are controlled by the paper feed clutch.

The registration sensor detects the leading edge of the paper and synchronizes paper feed with activation of laser diode for writing the image on the
OPC drum.
