Using the My Status Screen

Selecting your status


On any Yahoo! Messenger screen, press OPTION.
The Context menu appears.

Press / to select "My Status," and then press the center
button.
The My Status screen appears.

Press / to select "Status," and then press the center button.
The list of status options appears.

Press / to select an option, and then press the center button.

Press / to select "Save," and then press the center button.
About My status
The following status options are available.
Icon
(Available)
(Status Message)
(Busy)
(Stepped Out)
(Be Right Back)
(Not at My Desk)
(On the Phone)
(Status Message
(Busy))
(Invisible to
Everyone)
Status
You appear online to your contacts.
The message you entered is displayed in the Status
Message box on your contacts' units.
You appear busy to your contacts.
"Stepped Out" is displayed in the Status Message box on
your contacts' units.
"Be Right Back" is displayed in the Status Message box
on your contacts' units.
" Not at My Desk" is displayed in the Status Message
box on your contacts' units.
"On the Phone" is displayed in the Status Message box
on your contacts' units.
The message you entered is displayed in the Status
Message box on your contacts' units.
You are signed in to Yahoo! Messenger, but you
appear offline to your contacts.
