My old android phone has 64 letter wifi password. It has a QR Code transfer function but I can not get this into my new Sony Xperia 1 V phone.

To transfer a Wi-Fi password using a QR code on your Sony Xperia 1 V, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings on your Xperia 1 V.
2. Go to Network & Internet.
3. Select Wi-Fi and connect to the desired network.
4. Tap on the connected network to open Network Details.
5. Tap the Share option.
6. A QR code and the Wi-Fi password will be displayed.
7. To connect another device, open its camera or a QR code scanner.
8. Scan the QR code, and the device will connect automatically.

Alternatively, on the Xperia 1 V, enable the QR Code reader by:
1. Opening the Photo Pro app.
2. Switching to BASIC mode.
3. Tapping MENU > QR Code reader > On.

You can also access the QR scanner from the Quick settings panel.
