Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance and cleaning of the solar inverter at regular intervals is must to ensure proper
operation of whole solar inverter system. for this the user should keep in mind the following steps:
ˆ Heat sink of the inverter should be cleaned regularly to keep it free of dust as a dusty heat sink
may lead to improper operation of the inverter.
ˆ WARNING: Although the inverter is designed with sealed IP-65 enclosure, it is not recommended
to use a pressure washer or any other high pressure cleaning methods to clean the inverter that
could allow water or moisture to enter the unit.
ˆ PV modules (solar panels) should be cleaned properly, during cool time of the day (like in the
evening or early morning), whenever it is visibly dirty.
ˆ Periodically inspect the system to make sure that all wires and supports are securely fastened
in place.
ˆ Maintenance work should be carried out properly according to the different operating environ-
ments and frequencies.
ˆ If any damage is the observed in the connector system, please stop using it and ask for a change
immediately.
ˆ Please do not separate and mate the connector system unnecessarily unless it is for repairing or
maintenance purposes, as it may reduce the waterproof performance of the system.
WARNING!! Remember that this inverter weighs around 16 kgs! Please be careful when lifting
it out of the package.
