Hooking up the TV

Connect the video input jack of your
TV to the DVD VIDEO OUT jack
on the unit, using the supplied video
cord (WHG-SLK2i) or a commercially
available video cord (WHG-SLK1i).
Please be aware that the connection
should be made before installing the
system on the wall if you purchased
WHG-SLK2i and are using it on the wall.
DVD VIDEO OUT
Notes on the video output of DVD
VIDEO OUT jack
 Video output is available only when you are
using the CD/DVD function and the inserted
disc contains motion picture or still image
data.
 You cannot view video contents stored in
the iPod, USB device or memory card on
the connected TV screen. Video contents on
those devices can be viewed only on the LCD
screen.
Changing the color system
(Except for North American, European
and Latin American models)
Set the color system to PAL or NTSC
depending on the color system of your
TV.
The default setting for the color system is
different depending on the area.
Each time you perform the procedure
below, the color system changes as
follows:
NTSC  PAL
1
Press / to turn on the system.

Select "CD/DVD" from the home
menu, then press ENTER.

Press / to turn off the system.
4
Press / on the unit while holding
down  on the unit.
The system turns on automatically and
the color system is changed.
"DVD COLOR NTSC" or "DVD
COLOR PAL" appears on the screen.

