    Notes  Depending on the DVD VIDEO, you cannot perform Repeat Play.  You cannot perform Repeat Play with VIDEO CDs during PBC playback.  When playing a DATA CD/DVD which contains MP3 files and JPEG image files, the audio sound will not match the image if their playing time are different.

    Restricting playback of the disc (PARENTAL CONTROL) You can limit the playback of some DVD VIDEOs according to a predetermined level such as the age of the users. When a limited scene is played back, that scene may be skipped or replaced with different scenes.

    Using the calendar and clock functions You can use this system as a calendar or clock display, depending on your taste. Select “Calendar/Clock” from the home menu, then press ENTER. The calendar display appears on the screen. You can select the calendar display or analogue clock display by pressing DISPLAY repeatedly.

    If the system still does not operate properly, reset the system (page 95, 96). If the problem persists after doing all of the above, consult your nearest Sony dealer. If the STANDBY indicator flashes Immediately unplug the power cord, and check the following items.
  • Page 86 The system has entered standby mode unexpectedly.  This is not a malfunction. The system enters standby mode automatically after about 30 minutes when there is no operation, or when playback ends on the connected device. See “To turn off the automatic standby function” (page 97).
