Alle Auflageflächen des Schirmständers müssen gut auf dem Boden aufliegen, damit der Schirmständer auch wirklich stabil steht, und nicht umkippen kann. Gewichte, Gegenstände und Lasten müssen immer gleichmäßig und ausgewogen auf dem Schirmständer verteilt werden, da die Stabilität und damit auch die Sicherheit des Schirmständers durch einseitige oder ungleichmäßige Belastung der Platte beeinträchtigt werden kann.
