The LO indicator on the Medline MDS4003 may activate after 2 days of new batteries due to one or more of the following reasons:

1. Battery Quality or Type: If different types of batteries or a mix of new and used batteries were installed, the device may not function properly. The manual advises against mixing batteries.

2. Battery Drain: If the device was left on for an extended period or used frequently, the batteries may have drained faster than expected.

3. Faulty Batteries: Some batteries may be defective or not provide sufficient power, causing the LO indicator to appear.

4. Device Malfunction: If the device has an internal issue, it may incorrectly detect low battery levels.

To resolve the issue, replace the batteries with fresh, high-quality AAA batteries of the same type, ensuring they are properly installed. If the issue persists, the device may need servicing.
