1 Slots for optional boards
For the optional BKSR-2020/2021/2030/2031 input/
output boards.
For installation of the optional boards, refer to the
installation manual.
2 REF. VIDEO connectors (BNC type) and
75-ohm termination switch
To input a reference video signal.
The two connectors are in loop-through condition.
When loop-through output is not used, set the 75-ohm
termination switch to ON.
3 TIME CODE IN connector (XLR 3-pin, female)
To synchronize video/audio playback with a time code
signal, supply an appropriate time code signal via this
connector.
4 REMOTE RS-422A connector (D-sub 9-pin,
female)
Connect to the RS-422A connector of the host computer.
5 REMOTE RS-232C connector (D-sub 9-pin, male)
Connect to the RS-232C connector of the host computer.

6 GPI (General Purpose Interface) connector
(D-sub 25-pin)
Used for command/status signal input/output between
this unit and an external control device.
7 ETHERNET connector (RJ-45 modular jack)
Connect to the Ethernet connector of another VSR-
2000 or a computer for MPEG-2 data transmission.
Transmission can be performed in 10Base-T mode
with the standard configuration or in 100Base-T mode
with the optional BKSR-2070 mounted.
8 VTR CONTROL connector (D-sub 9-pin,
female, conforming to the RS-422A standards)
Connect to the REMOTE connector of an external
VTR.
9 ~AC IN connector
Connect to an AC power source using an optional AC
power cord.

For signal ground. Connect if required.
