Lower implements to the ground, engage parking brake, stop engine and remove ignition key. Perform a visual inspection of the entire unit, look for signs of wear, loose hardware and missing or damaged components.

    OPERATION JACOBSEN FAIRWAY 405 Series CH SAFETY AND OPERATORS MANUAL OPERATOR PRESENCE AND SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM The operator presence & safety interlock system prevents the engine from starting unless the neutral latch is released, and the mowing device is switched off. The system also stops the engine if the operator leaves the seat with the mowing device engaged or the neutral latch depressed.
