MAINTENANCE

Build up of dust in motor can cause motor damage. Periodic
cleaning of motor is not only recommended, but mandatory
for normal performance of the dust collector.
Periodically remove and empty the lower bag of the dust
collector. Periodically clean the upper bag of the dust
collector.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

TROUBLE
Motor does not run when power
switch is pressed "ON".
Motor does not run
at full speed.
Motor does not
reach full power.
Motor overheating.
Insufficient suction power.
Dust collector can
not be moved.

ORDERING REPLACEMENT PARTS

Replacement parts may be ordered from your local distributor. When ordering replacement parts,
always provide the following information:
1.
The model number and serial number of the dust collector.
2.
The parts number.
3.
The parts name.
4.
The desired quantity of the part.
PROBABLE CAUSE
1.
Switch is burnt out
2.
Connection wire is loose
or damaged
1.
Power voltage is too low.
2.
Motor is damaged.
1.
Incorrect power wiring.
2.
Overloaded.
1.
Motor is dirty.
2.
Motor is damaged.
1.
Inlet port blocked.
2.
Lower bag is full.
3.
Flexible hose is broken.
4.
Hose clamp is too loose.

Casters are damaged.
2.
Casters are jammed by
dust or wood chips.

Always disconnect the dust collector
from the power source before commencing any
maintenance.

Replace the switch.
2.
Tighten wire or replace wire.

Test voltage.

Check and repair motor.

Replace with the correct size
power wiring.

Reduce load.

Clean motor.
2.
Check and repair motor.

Remove flexible hose
and clean inlet port.
2.
Empty dust from lower bag.
3.
Replace flexible hose.
4.
Tighten hose clamp.

Replace casters.
