Battery Operation
Running Times
For a single channel EPM-P power meter, a fully charged battery is
typically sufficient for up to 160 minutes continuous operation with
the backlight off, and up to 110 minutes with the backlight on.
For a dual channel EPM-P power meter, a fully charged battery is
typically sufficient for up to 75 minutes continuous operation with the
backlight off, and up to 45 minutes with the backlight on.

Battery Status
You can check the status of the battery by pressing

. The Battery Status screen (Figure 1) uses an analog meter
scale to show the charge condition of the battery. Below the analog
scale, the estimated remaining operating time is displayed.
Running time can be increased by operating the power meter with the
display backlight turned off (see Backlight on page 4).

During battery operation, when there are less than 10 minutes of
running time remaining, the message
is displayed. In
