Connecting the MicroLink dLAN ADSL Modem
Router
Preconditions
Your MicroLink dLAN ADSL Modem Router requires a computer running an
operating system with network support (e.g. Windows 98, Windows Me,
Windows 2000, Windows XP, MAC OS X, Linux) connected to the MicroLink
dLAN ADSL Modem Router either via LAN (Ethernet) or dLAN (power line).

RJ11 socket for cable to ADSL port.
RJ45 sockets for network cables (patch cables, at least UTP
CAT5) to connect computers in the LAN or additional
switches.
Button for manual reset. If this button is pressed for longer
than five seconds, all of the stored configuration data will be
deleted and the router will be restored to its factory defaults.
Connection for AC adapter and dLAN.
Power switch.
Connecting via LAN (Ethernet)
To connect a computer to the integrated switch via LAN, use a UTP-CAT5
(Unshielded Twisted Pair, Category 5) network cable with RJ45 plugs,
also known as a patch cable. The computer must have a free LAN port
(RJ45).
Connecting via dLAN (household power network)
Connecting a computer via dLAN requires an additional dLAN adapter
connected to a suitable port (Ethernet, USB, WLAN) of your computer.
