Reference Manual Installing the detector 00809-0100-4976 June 2021 For wiring, use color-coded conductors or suitable wire markings or labels. You may use 12 to 20 AWG (0.5 mm to 3.5 mm ) wires for site wiring. Select wire gauge based on the number of detectors used on the same line and the distance from the control to the ground unit, in compliance with specifications.
After pulling the conductor cables through the conduits, perform a continuity test. Installing the tilt mount (PN 00975-9000-0001) The tilt mount (PN 00975-9000-0001) enables the detector to rotate up to 60 degrees in all directions. Rosemount 975HR flame detector. Flame simulator Emerson designed the flame simulators specifically for use with Rosemount flame detectors. The flame simulator emits infrared radiation in a unique sequential pattern corresponding to and recognizable by the detector as fire. This allows the detectors to be tested under simulated fire conditions without the associated risks of an open flame.
