d. Lift the microprocessor module straight up and out of the micro-
processor retention bracket on the system board (see Figure 4-21).

After installing the replacement microprocessor module and reconnecting the tem-
perature sensor cable, change the jumber (if necessary), enter the System Setup
program and confirm that the Processor 1 and Processor 2 categories correctly iden-
tify the installed microprocessor(s). Run the EISA Configuration Utility to
reconfigure the system. Run the system diagnostics to verify that the new micropro-
cessor is operating correctly.
If installing a second microprocessor module, remove the terminator card (see
the next subsection, "Terminator Card").
